Farmers' Market Dates

Buy quality food from local producers at our regular Chichester Farmers’ Market. The next markets are Friday 6 March and Friday 20 March.

Businesses across our district are invited to take part in our business insight survey to help build a current picture of the local business climate.

Changes to Renters' Rights

The government’s new Renters’ Rights Act is the biggest overhaul of renting legislation for more than 30 years and will come into force from 1 May 2026.

County Elections – Voting Deadlines

Key voting deadlines have been announced following confirmation that the West Sussex County Council election will take place on Thursday 7 May 2026.

Biodiversity Strategy

The council’s new ten-year Biodiversity Strategy includes projects to improve water resilience, connect habitats and expand tree planting.

Weigh Better Life

Registrations are open for a free 12-week weight management course from Chichester Wellbeing with support from a registered nutritionist.


Elmer Exhibition – Early Bird Tickets

Children’s favourite Elmer the patchwork elephant will soon arrive in Chichester for the exhibition “Elmer and Friends: The Colourful World of David McKee.” Opening Saturday 18 April.


Weekly Food Waste Collections

The new weekly food waste collection service will roll out between March and May. Residents will receive food waste caddies delivered directly to their homes.
